Yellow leaves

As a child I never liked autumn. It was too cold, too wet and, most important, it represented the beginning of the new school year, the end of the summer holiday.

A few years ago I started rediscovering this season. Somehow all my past prejudices disappeared and I found myself enjoying autumn and its beauty.

The smell of the wet ground, the multicoloured leaves, the freshness of the air…I don’t know why I used to have such a bad impression about this season. I assume it was because of the school :))

These photo were taken in the neighbourhood where I live. In Frankfurt, of course 🙂
